Ručný refraktometer MASTER je ako prvý vybavený automatickou kompenzáciou teploty a odolnosťou voči vode (IP65) súčasne.
MASTER-α je vyrobený z kovu a MASTER-Pα je plastový. Špecifikácie sú úplne rovnaké. Pre meranie slaných a kyslých vzoriek je vhodný plastový refraktometer MASTER-Pα.
